ARTIST STATEMENT

My artistic practice explores the dialogue between Eastern tradition and contemporary expression. Rooted in Chinese ink painting and calligraphy, I work with ink, watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media to develop a personal visual language.Inspired by faith, lived experience, nature, and emotion, my work moves between figures, landscapes, and the natural world, seeking to express not only what is seen, but also what is felt.Through the interplay of Eastern aesthetics and Western materials, I explore memory, inner experience, and the relationship between the visible and unseen, creating spaces for reflection, connection, and contemplation.
